Payment module for nopCommerce

ePay’s free payment module for nopCommerce makes it easy to accept payment cards in your online store.

Anyone can install and use the module, so you can focus on your business.

Download the module, and follow the 3 steps below to accept online payments!

1. Create an ePay account

You need a test account with ePay to try the module. A test account is free and easy to create. When the account is created, you’ll get a test merchant number which is used for test payments.

Create your test account here

Please indicate that you want a test account in the comment field in step 2. You can disregard all prices.

When you’re ready to accept real payments, we’ll upgrade your test account to a production account. This means you don’t have to create a new account.

2. Install ePay's payment module in nopCommerce

NB: Please make a backup of your website before beginning installation!

Download the module, and save it to your hard drive.

Download ePay’s module

Unzip the file.

Copy/paste the folder Payments.ePay and all content to /Plugins/ on your server.

Open your nopCommerce administration, and choose Configuration -> Plugins (see image 1 below).

Find ePay Payment Solutions, and press ‘Install’.

Choose Configuration -> Payment Methods.

Do you get an error here?
Open the file global.asax, and make a line break at the bottom. Save the file, and try again.
Press ’Configure’ by ePay (see image 2).

Enter your merchant number in the field ”Merchant number”. It is either a test or production merchant number, and you received it from ePay.

Click on ‘Save’ at the bottom of the page.

Choose Configuration -> Payment Methods in the menu. Press ‘Edit’ by the ePay module, and check the field “Is active”. Press ‘Update’ on the right.

You’ve now installed ePay’s payment module.

3. Test the payment module

The domain from which you’re testing must be registered on your ePay administration in the menu Settings -> Payment system. If the domain is not registered, ePay cannot open the payment window and show it to your customers.

Complete a purchase in your store to test the payment module.

Fill in the forms, and choose ePay as your payment method.

Below is an example of ePay’s payment window. You can add your own logo and company information at the top of the window. Make these changes from the ePay administration in Settings -> Payment window.

The customers can choose between all the payment methods activated on your account.

When the payment is completed, the customer is sent to an order confirmation page. In image 4 below you’ll see the confirmation page when a payment is approved.
